ABOUT:

Erin Douglas a Maryland based Travel and lifestyle Documentary photography, creative travel writer, travel advocate and founder of Black Burner Project.   

As a Travel photographer, Erin’s work has been featured in Essence, The Baltimore Sun, Travel Noire, Ebony Magazine. Her work is also published in the NY Times listed book “Shut Up and Run”. Erin has helped capture moments for brands like Nike, Conde Nast Traveler, The Wing,  Kitchen Kray Empire, and El Camino Travel.

After discovering her love for photography on a solo trip to the Philippines, she has placed travel photography at the center of her work. As a travel writer she shares stories of her travels and the people she meets on her blog erin-sha.com and social pages @aphotochick.

Beyond her travel photography, Erin helps brands who desire to connect with their audience in a more genuine, authentic and relatable way with a refreshing eye-  allowing for the true story and identity of the brand to emerge. Currently Erin is helping companies with Diversity strategies and impact through her creative imagery and story- telling.

Erin is also a regular speaker on the importance and transformative power of traveling. As a travel advocate, she has spoken in schools, workshops and conferences. Erin is the founder of Black Burner Project, a movement that documents people of color at Burning Man through photography and personal interviews.
